There will be a magistrate at each center of the 47th BCS preliminary examination.
The government has appointed 120 officers from the administration cadre as magistrates, giving them the power to operate mobile courts to maintain law and order inside and outside the center during the 47th BCS preliminary examination.
The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification today, Wednesday, empowering them as executive magistrates according to the Code of Criminal Procedure. The preliminary examination of the 47th BCS will be held on September 19 from 10 am to 12 noon.
On the day of the preliminary examination, one executive magistrate will be on duty at each of the 113 examination centers. And seven magistrates will be in the control room of the Public Service Commission Secretariat.
Executive magistrates who have been assigned the preliminary examination have been asked to attend a briefing seminar at the PSC on September 14 at 11 am. They will have to report to the PSC office at 4:30 am on September 19.
